The lyrics of “Heart Station” center around the metaphor of a radio station that connects people by picking up on the secret frequencies of the heart. It is a bitter-sweet song about a couple who are going through the end of a relationship and the both of them are unsure if they feel the same way because they aren’t talking and communicating properly.
