well, I watched her live on internet, obviously. it was like 5 pm here

this was the first time I thanked my office's internet connection for being very good lol

it was amazing, well UTADA UNITED was far better than this but still, the fact that I watched it live just blew me away. technology kicked ass!!

How I discovered my top 25 artists

1. Rurutia
I think I was watching a Hajime Chitose PV on YouTube, and I was bored and looking for new artists... and then I saw a video by RURUTIA in the related videos section. I loved the PV's mystery (her face was barely visible) and how amazingly beautiful and touching the song was. And since then I've just come to love her music more and more. :)

Favourite song: ABINTRA, Pavane and Chou no Mori.

2. Utada Hikaru
I'd heard of her, and had listened to a few of her songs, but I never got round to really getting into her music. I guess it was when I played Kingdom Hearts and liked the song she did there. I was really impressed that she'd sung English and Japanese versions of the song.

1) This Is Love 8/10
Good opening. fast-paced & catchy song.
2) Keep Tryin' 9/10
Lyrically and instrumentally brilliant, I love you Hikki.
3) BLUE 6/10
This is a love/hate track. I found her voice annoying in this song.
4) 日曜の朝 7/10
Nothing amazing, but a decent, relaxing song about shopping on sundays.
5) Making Love 7/10
On first listens, irritating, after a few, catchy.
6) 誰かの願いが協うころ 9/10
Piano and vocal only song. A Pure song. Love it.
7) COLORS 10/10
One of the most remarkable songs of her career. Along with Passion the most experimental songs in the album. So many layers, but they all fit together beautifully. You are not a Hikki fan until you've heard this.
8) One Night Magic 5/10
Features some other Japanese male singer, its ok. Nothing worth noting.
9) 海路 9/10
Minimalistic but beautiful use of vocals. has an almost soothing-like feel to it.
