I don't know but only HEAVEN and Ring really catches me. LOVELAND is better than TRUE LOVERS, but I fell the lack of more light in her work (and photoshoots too) to catch me again. Since M BEST my sympathy to her work is dropping a lot :(

She's hot but her music is not for me. Too easy on the ears I suppose.

Hmm at first I wasn't too fond of the experimental songs on LOVELAND. I just was "Um, ok wtf is this?". Though the more I listened to them (mainly 冷静と情熱のあいだ and RUN FREE) the more I liked them. 冷静と情熱のあいだ took multiple listens for me to come to like it. For me personally it was really cohesive in track listing although maybe I would have kept the same sound because going from RUN FREE to One Night Only was a bit awkward. So maybe switching 冷静と情熱のあいだ and One Night Only would have made it flow just a little better at then end. What I meant by it being cohesive was that it kept the same "chill" sound throughout the album expect for the here and there really upbeat songs. But then again that's totally subjective.

TRUE LOVERS is an excellent album, and to me her second best (Ring is her best). It has the right amount of all the type of songs she's good at, and they're quality songs. While I love that she went more urban with LOVELAND (which I have been begging for for some years) some of the songs to me are too experimental and at times are just awkward (sorry but You're Beautiful and 冷静と情热のあいだ just can't stick with me). I'm also confused by the cohesiveness comments because once LOVER -Episode II- starts (which I love) the album just starts becoming random as hell to me.

v Most people who I've talked to say it's just simply boring. I just don't see it, but then again I really like all the songs on the album. Most people aren't too fond of ballads and TRUE LOVERS is chock full of 'em. Most are uptempo but not sure what people expected from an album named TRUE LOVERS.

v TRUE LOVERS holds the special place in my heart as my favorite album from her, too. Though a lot of people don't seem to like it for some reason. I agree on the b-sides. Miliyah's are always amazing.

I enjoyed LOVELAND quite a bit. It's really cohesive sound wise and the track ordering is really great imo. Although she (as well as a lot of other artists) have really great b-sides to their singles and I do wish she included some of them on LOVELAND as I feel it would fit the "chill" vibe it gives off. With that aside TRUE LOVERS will probably always hold a special place in my heart as my favorite album from her.

@kalassyFOREVER I'm glad there's someone else but me who thinks LOVELAND is one of her worst albums. To be honest, it's very good, in my opinion. But compared to all her other albums, it just lacks something for me. It gets better with a lot of listens, but I still prefer any other album she has to LOVELAND. Also, a lot of people talk about some kind of cohesiveness I can't really hear. I mean, in that department it's the same as any other album of her (maybe even less cohesive imho). But I guess none of this is objective anyway. It just didn't seem to me as a "whole" album with a certain sound. Maybe it's because this is the first album by her where I've actually listened to and knew all of the singles before its release. In any case, LOVELAND is a really outstanding album, but for me her worst. I guess that says a lot about how much I love Miliyah's other albums, lol.

When I saw that Yuzu and Sexy Zone were releasing their albums the same day as her, I knew she'd get #3. It was a given. I'd rather have a more cohesive album than songs thrown on to be singles. And once the collaboration best album with Shota was announced before LOVELAND came out, it was clear why LOVE STORY wasn't on there.

Funny because even the tour DVD that came out the same day as the album got #1. #poordat

The album just didn't have enough "single worthy" songs. Didn't help that she didn't put LOVE STORY on there. Sorry but its one of my least favorites. Even HEAVEN was better.
