He Xuntian (何训田) (born in 1953 in Suining, Sichuan Province,China) is a modern Chinese composer and also a music composition professor at Shanghai Conservatory of Music. By age eight, he has been studying music theory by himself and composition follows suit. In 1982, he graduated from the Composition Department of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music.
