The Chinese Zither (Guzheng) played by Fu Na VS Chinese Fiddle (Erhu) played by Huang Jiangqin.

Fu Na, the outstanding young guzheng soloist, she started learning guzheng at the age of nine, receiving the instruction from the famous zheng teacher Wen Fuze. In 1996 she entered the China Conservatory to study instrumental music, received the regular system of music training, and was under the contemporary zheng Master Mr. Wang Zhongshan’s guidance.

Presently, Fu is a guzheng player of Guangdong Song and Dance Theater and Folk Music Orchestra. She has published individual performance albums, and held individual solo concert. She also accompanied the Guangzhou Symphony orchestra to perform in six countries in Europe.

Fu Na’s guzheng performance is highly skill, elegantly and smoothly, the timbre is exquisite, couple hardness with softness, combined with the wonderful rhyme of traditional zheng attainments, and the modern elegant demeanor.

Huang Jiangqin studied erhu in Hainai Art College. She worked for South Opera Troupe as an erhu executant. She acted as a chief player as far as today. She won many kinds of prizes at Chinese urheen competition.

She was invited to England, France, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao etc to spread and exchange urheen performing arts. Huang Jiangqin is an excellent erhu player with artistic talent. Her urheen works with high standard.
