今井 麻美 (いまい あさみ, Asami Imai) often called by her nicknames “Mingos”, “Asamingos P” or “Asa-chan” born May 16, 1977 in Yamaguchi, Japan, her bloodtype O and currently living in Saitama Prefecture’s Chichibu, she studied and graduated from Tokuyama High School and Meiji University’s Literature department. She debuted in 1997 in a drama CD released by Enix (then called Square-Enix) titled Toki no Daichi and as singer in 2009 by releasing her first single “Day by Day / Shining Blue Rain” under the 5pb. Records label.
She quit her agency, ARTSVISION, in 2007, and moved onto the agency Kaleidoscope. It’s unknown whether or not this had anything to do with the ARTSVISION Scandal.
Her hobbies and special talents include forest walking, writing song lyrics and massages.
Known as 如月千早 (Chihaya Kisaragi) in THE iDOLM@STER, Kurisu Makise in Steins;Gate and Tsubaki Yayoi in BlazBlue. She also coupled with 喜多村英梨 (Eri Kitamura) and formed the group ARTERY VEIN which is also under 5pb. label. And part of the units 765PRO ALLSTARS and DG-10.
