scam101 @kumonoito - aww I wish I'd seen it then. i was so gutted because it was my only chance to see her and it really.. was bad. I've finally come to terms with it and can say it now haha, was slightly in denial before and couldn't talk about it. I haven't seen the concert footage but if it's worse than the concert i saw then :/... I guess it might have helped that I was further away and not totally sucked into the atmosphere that I could listen properly but it was really out of tune. People around were confused when it started. And I'm saying this as a Mika fan, I LOVE her but I'm not one to white lie to back her up just because I like her (people may dislike me for this but I think I have to be honest sometimes)... and I was disappointed and I won't twist my memory of the live as is so tempting to. Just gutted that I see her that ONE chance in my life and it was all over the place. /Saw Superfly a while later and that helped me get over it though.. it was amazing./not a superfly troll

@scam101: I was also there on July 10th, much better than the concert footage we got, but the second time I went it was truly flawless! I also noticed (I was very very close) she now uses some kind of screen system to help her hit the notes as her illness provides her from hitting them so easily. Anyways, can't wait for the DVD! and a new single ♥

@kumonoito - I saw her live this summer on July 10th at NHK Hall... I am a huge, huge Mika fan but I have to say, I was really disappointed. I can't bring myself to believe that she sings like that all the time because I've seen loads of videos where she's sung really well. It's probably her illness - I didn't think it would hit her this hard. You're lucky you saw a good concert, after the concert I read Japanese reviews online on other shows in the same tour and they said she was off too.. I couldn't talk about it for days after the concert and couldn't listen to her for a while after either. I was probably being a drama queen but after having listened to her for years and finally being able to see her concert I was pretty gutted. I hope she gets over her illness soon.

@HuynhTrungVien : answer to your question is simple, her voice was gone that day.. But the concert was scheduled to be recorded so she probably was forced to go on.. I saw the concert just right before this one (on the 22nd) and her voice was absolutely perfect.

Creciente From what I have heard of the new single, the impressions have been very positive. I enjoy watching Mika reinvent herself with every other release and how she keeps on trying different things and does so really well. "LOVE IS ECSTASY" reminds me of her past works, such as "GLAMOROUS SKY" and I'm finding it great. "You Knocked Me Out" is in the vein of things like "conFusion", and that is always a plus. Both songs are very fun and enjoyable. Another day, another Nakashima release, another joy. Her vocals only seem to get better with age and I consider these vocals extremely pleasant.
