tootbrush @DEATHINFIREX: Since you're such a massive PC-98 fan, you should know that the TH1-3 music was rearranged for Mystic Square's music room way before Akyu put out her albums. And they sound better that way, especially Eternal Shrine Maiden.

Also, I can't shake off the tango vibes in many of the tracks (especially Last Remote and 3rd Eye). It's neat how he manages to mix different genres and different eras together in his music.

Subterranean Animism does have a great soundtrack. Just listened to that yesterday night while cruising through a dark, foggy countryside. There were fireworks too (people celebrating a local end-of-summer holiday), which fit the majestic feel of the music nicely.

just ignore that guy its obvious hes trolling everywhere, thats why i haven't been paying him attention. and yeah, 11 and 12 are awesome, especially 11 ~. I also somewhat agree with Ocean, not really diggin th13 ost .. besides few tracks here and there, more zun and twilight!

For you to be disappointed, your expectations must've been unnaturally high. ZUN hasn't made a really good touhou since Mountain of Faith. This game is a step in the right direction since the turd that is th12. I'm glad I wasn't expecting another EoSD, because this way I can actually enjoy the game for what it is.

OceanSilhouette Ten Desires soundtrack was such an disappointment alongside with the whole game. True Administrator was okay, but compared to earlier boss themes it just pales in comparison. The other boss themes were meh too, apart from Yuyuko's new theme/stage 1, 2nd one was bad, 3rd one was okay, 4th one was okay too, 5th was just plain horrible (Like the 5th one from UFO...). Extra boss theme is growing on me, but it's kinda bleh. Better than Native Faith though. Stage themes are bland, only ones I like are 4th and 6th. Okay, rant over.

True Administrator is now my new favourite Touhou final boss theme. It's much more subtle in creating an epic atmosphere than the recent ANNOYING TRUMPETS BLARING INTO YOUR EARS themes (Nuclear Fusion, Cosmic Mind... well, every Windows final boss theme I guess), which is probably why there are people that don't like it. What a shame.

Both stage 4 and stage 6 themes are much better than anything in UFO, in my opinion. The extra stage themes also grew on me. I agree about the stage 5 boss song though, it's a bit... simple. Uninspired.

The only Ten Desires track I genuinely dislike is the stage 5 boss theme. While the OST may not be mind-blowing, it's growing on me. True Administrator desperately needs epic arranges, though.
