ラッド (Pronounced: Rado / Lad) was an indies Visual Kei Rock band from Tokyo, Japan. The four-member band was formed in April of 2007, and held their first live in May of that year. The live was part of a three-man sponsored event held by 亟彩フイルム. On November 27th, at their live at 高田馬場AREA, they began distributing their first single, 曇りガラス. ラッド continued to play lives throughout 2007 and early 2008, until May of when they were featured on the compilation album, HYSTERIC MEDIA ZONE VIII.
The band released another distributed single, participated in one more compilation album, and was part of a coupling CD released by SHOXX, before releasing their first official single, 三度目の過ち, in December of 2008. However, at their live on June 24th, 2009, vocalist みつ withdrew from the band. ラッド went on an indefinite hiatus before announcing their disbandment in November.
Since their disbandment, vocalist みつ has joined in the renewal of popular Visual Kei Rock band, ν. Whilst guitarist 悠切 joined OUTЯAGE in July of 2010.
