It was right then, but now it's not. Sure for that one album it could technically still be right but it also wouldn't be since they don't go by the Latin letters anymore. There really isn't a good excuse for the users on the other page to not have the right tag since the name was changed in 1999 before lastfm came to be. However most have used the Latin letters not only for that album but conveniently for the others and are reluctant to transfer plays and some claim if they use the right tag, they won't be able to read it. Every time someone would suggest that they suggest a correction it gets blown off or ignored.

Rawny I don't understand why their name is not being written in Japanese as: マキシマムザホルモン That would seem to be more in keeping with last.fm's own guidelines: http://www.last.fm/help/faq?category=97#261

karol2d On their official website, there is written "Maximum The Hormone", but here we've got "Maximum the Hormone". Wtf? o.O I've got a half of scrobles with MTH and the other half with MtH _^_

kacper92 I think that this is the proper name to scrobble MTH. I've got 183 scrobbles on the romanized name, however I really wish last.fm would merge both of them.

It's also so low because of different tags. Some are still scrobbling to 'Maximum the Hormone' instead of 'マキシマム ザ ホルモン' and it's not set to auto correct. I had some on both because last.fm radio played from 'Maximum the Hormone' 90% of the time so I had to delete almost 200 plays plus wrong tags on here (also last.fm's radios fault) making 400 total. Adding the amount of listeners from both pages gives them around 165,000 listeners and a bit over 9,000,000 plays. I keep suggesting a correction but I guess it never works since people don't do it enough.

TheDistortedOne I thought more people knew about マキシマム ザ ホルモン , 29,190 listeners is pretty low. Even some of my american friends know them and they do not follow japanese music. It seems like the people who listen to them really like them and listen to them a lot going by the number of plays. Popularity really doesn't matter and I could care less how many people like them, but they really are an amazing and completely unique band.

froggyman75 New single is pretty awesome. The auto-tune surprised me in "my girl" and the lack of crowd noises in "maximum the hormone" makes the song sound weird after listening to the PV version for ages.
