Biography

Sachi Tainaka (タイナカ サチ, Tainaka Sachi, born April 30, 1986 in Hyogo, Japan) was raised in an environment surrounded by music. She loves to sing and play the piano as she was aspired to become a singer. With her talent of writing her own lyrics and composing her own songs, to date, she have written more than 30. At 15 years old, she made up her mind to be a singer and recorded her own demo tape and started performing live concerts. And, due to the demo tape which reached her current company, Geneon Entertainment Inc.; she debuted on February 22, 2006 with TV Anime, Fate/Stay Night’s opening theme song, `Disillusion`. -Translated by rui@JPM, original text from Amazon.co.jp.

In addition, she also sung the 2nd themesong “Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni “Fate/Stay Night. In April 2006, her 3rd single “Saikou no Kataomoi” was the ED themesong for the anime “Saiunkoku Monogatari”, which gained her more publicity. While her Fate/Stay songs were more upbeat-driven themesongs, we get a taste of her composed ballads for “Saikou no Kataomoi”.

Her upcoming new song「愛しい人へ」 (“Aishii Hito E”) will be ED song for 「精霊の守り人」, which will be aired in 2007.4.7.
