美勇伝 (v-u-den; alternatively Biyuuden, viyuden, etc) was a Hello! Project unit, a Japanese pop group formed in August 2004. The group was lead by Morning Musume member Rika Ishikawa (石川梨華), as a new project to focus on after her Morning Musume graduation. She was joined by Hello! Project Egg Yui Okada (岡田唯) and audition winner Erika Miyoshi (三好絵梨香).

SUEMITSU & THE SUEMITH (スエミツ アンド ザ スエミス) is the solo project name of pianist/composer/vocalist 末光篤 (Suemitsu Atsushi). A native of Hiroshima Prefecture and graduate of Nagoya Music University, he began experimenting with rock and music theory while in college. Suemitsu also traveled to Paris for one year to hone his skills as a classically trained pianist.
Maki Goto, born September 23, 1985 in Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese pop singer. She joined Hello! Project in 1999 as the sole 3rd generation member of popular idol group Morning Musume. Her debut single with the group, LOVE Machine, sold over a million copies.
Miki Fujimoto (藤本美貴; married name Miki Shouji (庄司美貴), born on February 26, 1985 in Takikawa, Hokkaidou) is a Japanese former idol singer and actress, also known as "Mikitty". She was originally part of the group of finalists in the 4th generation Morning Musume auditions that resulted in the induction of Ishikawa Rika, Yoshizawa Hitomi, Tsuji Nozomi and Kago Ai.
メロン記念日 (Melon Kinenbi) was a Japanese pop group under the Hello! Project (ハロー！プロジェクト) umbrella. Picked from an audition in 1999, they released their first single in February 2000. Their activity slowed in the following years, releasing only a single a year after 2005, but they continued to make appearances and tour the country.
Morning Musume (モーニング娘。) is a Japanese all female J-Pop group and the core group under the more expansive Hello! Project (H!P for short). Formed in 1997 when the producer of the band, Tsunku, challenged the 5 runner-ups of a TV competition, where they competed to become the lead singer of Sharan Q, to sell 50,000 copies of their demo single "Ai no Tane" in 5 days.
Taiyo to Ciscomoon debuted in April of 1999. Its four members (Inaba Atsuko, RuRu, Shinoda Miho, and Kominato Miwa) were chosen on the TV show ASAYAN. They released six singles and an album that year. Kominato left the group before their sixth single, but rejoined shortly afterwards.

She often took the lead in the group's songs, on occasion singing the entire lead vocal with the other girls acting as backup singers. In 2004, she graduated from the group to pursue a solo career.
ミニモニ。(Mini Moni) was a Japanese pop group formed in 2000 by Mari Yaguchi (矢口真里). It was a subgroup under Morning Musume (モーニング娘。) with the premise that it would consist of members under 150 cm (4'11") tall.
