サディ (Sadie) is a japanese rock band formed in Osaka, Japan. The sound can be described as heavy metalrock with aggressive vocals.
The band was formed in February 2005 by Mao (真緒, vocals), Tsurugi (剣, guitar), Mizuki (美月, guitar), Aki (亜季, bass) and Sora (空, drums). They began their activities on March 18th 2005 at BIG CAT in Osaka, as the support act for bands as D, Fatima, Shulla etc. On July 27th they released their debut single “黒衣の下の欲望と、苦悩の果てに視た百景の百合達”, in a limited edition of 2000 copies.
On December 3th of that year, they had their first oneman live 「dekiai ~ As a sad matter of fact ~ 」 on Osaka MUSE HALL in Osaka. Their single “溺哀 -dekiai-” was released only weeks after, in a limited edition of 3333 copies.
In January 2006, drummer Sora decided to leave the band due family reasons. The other members moved on with the band and soon they got a new drummer, Kei (景).
Their debut mini-album “The Trend Killer”, was released on May 3rd of that year, in only 4444 copies, and was sold out just months after. They released a 2nd press in November 2006, and also a 3rd press in February 2007, both was sold out completely just within a couple of months.
Their second mini-album “THE SUICIDE MACHINE” saw it’s release on November 22nd, the album included five new songs and a PV of “迷彩” (Meisai). Sadie was front-page featured in the December 2006 edition of Cure Magazine.

It doesn't matter what you think looks better. The Last.fm page to use should be the name that the band go by. And the band clearly go by the name Sadie, not サディ. It's got nothing to do with romaji / kanji.

That's not the issue here. It's that Sadie haven't used the Japanese spelling of their name for anything since 2007. They've basically abandoned it. It's not a problem with people being "too lazy to correct their tags" since I actually changed my tags from サディ to Sadie when I realised that they don't go by that name anymore. If anything, this should be considered the wrong tag. But I'm not even asking people to change anything on their music player. All I'm asking is to vote for Sadie as the correct name. I don't see why someone would have a problem with that request.

I wouldn't. un-romaji is one of the related groups for this page for this. If people still use サディ it's because they prefer their tags in japanese, such as there are people who still use ガゼット, アリス九號. and so on. No need to merge the pages for this artist only because people are lazy to correct their tags, don't like the fact that there are 87987987 pages for the same artist, want more scrobbles in order to show off or whatever.
