There's absolutely nothing wrong with "comparing" them to Gazette (while apparently even just mentioning a Gazette similarity means you're "comparing") when they are pretty clearly a massive influence on them. Sure, going "OMG AND ARE SOOOO MUCH BETTER DAN GAZETTO" or vice versa is pretty damn stupid and unnecessary, but discussing the similar styles of music doesn't strike me as anything bad. Hell, I'm sure the And guys would be fine with being "compared" to Gazette.
