Title is an ambitious concept album pretending to be a huge joke. It was made by various artists in various genres, all coming from the Elitist Superstructure of DQN anonymous bulletin-board.
This really long song contains 18 verses, and enough bridges, choruses and encores to make it a 29-parts piece that lasts for 1 hour and 37 minutes, each verse being a separate song in the album.
The lyrics were originally written in a sort of Internet Mad Libs process, by letting anonymous posters posters add their lyrics to a huge discussion thread, that was started as a joke.
The recording of the album was done in the same free-for-all anonymous mindset, using only anonymous discussion boards and a wiki for coordination.
Many artists recorded more than one track, but used different aliases for each one. Those aliases were often used to make a statement about the verse, as the artists didn’t get to write the lyrics or the title of their songs.
The album was released as a free download. The download contains a lyrics booklet, which is really required to understand some of the verses.
