Here, I will constantly amend what will eventually become my personal end of year list, as such this is designed not to critique music, but to narrate my own reaction towards it. Please feel free to recommend me other albums and EPs I haven't listed here, I want to listen to as much new music as possible.

127. Silent Descent - Mind Games
As soon as I saw the album cover, I knew this was going to be pretty terrible, but I decided to give it a listen anyway. A favourite from my shameful days where I would listen to deathcore, metalcore and trancecore, Silent Descent play a style of metalcore which incorporates trance-like synths. And unsurprisingly, on the first track they have also bought into the dubstep fad. I've grown out of this music for a reason, and sometimes it takes a reflective listen years later to realise this; for this reason Mind Games has been excellently bad.

Nowości w tym tygodniu - prawdziwe perły, często niekomercyjne i czasem niesinglowe. Powiem tyle - wstyd nie posłuchać. Wszystkie są genialne! A niektóre totalne. Szokująco piękny i smutny The Drums, zupełnie inne niż cała ich dotychczasowa twórczość. Równie udany nowy, niesinglowy Chairlift, ta kapela jest niesamowita. Na szczycie debiutuje kawałek, który po prostu mnie rozwalił, typowy rozwalacz od pierwszego odsłuchu - Django Django. Wraca taneczny Muscles, modły Listoholika wysłuchany wraca niesamowita formacja High Places, jest odłam Deftones, ale w nieco bardziej elektronicznej oprawie czyli formacja †††. Jest nowa piosenka The Big Pink - znakomita moim zdaniem, cuuudowna. Dlatego to ona tu się pojawia a nie single. Bo Lista dziobaseczka to azyl dla najlepszych perełek muzyki niezależnej Na liście pojawia się fajna piosenka Various Cruelties i Noela (dziwię się, że dotychczas nic tu nie dotarło), jest nowy School Of Seven Bells. Zresztą słuchajcie sami. Nie pozwólcie przepaść tym piosenkom.

Hace un par de días leí en el sitio de la revista Rolling Stone un artículo acerca del más reciente proyecto del Chino Moreno (frontman de los Deftones), se trata de ††† (Crosses). De hecho, esta banda la conocí el año pasado, me descargué su EP y la verdad valió la pena.

El Artículo en cuestión trata de la primera muestra del segundo EP (que será liberado este 24 de Enero), esta canción se llama "Prurien†" y se indica que empezó como una canción metalera pero conforme fueron trabajando en ella ésta se fué "cocinando" hasta resultar algo bastante diferente (y buenísimo a mi gusto).
