Shlomo Ydov (שלמה יידוב) is an Israeli composer and virtuoso guitar player. Originaly from Argentina, his style combines Jazz, Spanish influences, Folk and 60’s Prog-rock.
His musical career started as part of the partially successful and influential Prog-rock trio “Nonames” (קצת אחרת).
After only one year they disbanded, and Ydov joined another band, “Tuned Tone” (צליל מכוון).
This time the band was more successful, but still, managed to create only one album.
After they disbanded, Ydov turned to a solo career.
After six studio solo albums (as of 2010), Ydov still collaborates with his former bandmates, and continues to create solo albums.
