Shlomo Gronich (January 21, 1949 in Hadera; Hebrew: שלמה גרוניך) is an Israeli composer, male singer and choir conductor.

He grew up in a musical family in Hadera. His father, Otto Gronich, was the first conductor of the IDF Orchestra and also established, in his hometown, the Orchestra of the Israeli Firefighters. Shlomo perfomed with his family members from an early age. His brother, Ilan Gronich, became a well-known Israeli violinist.

Shlomo Gronich has composed classical music, and Israeli pop and folk, as well as the scores for several films. Some of his songs became Israeli classics, like Sympatia, Nueba (instrumental) and Rosa Martzepan.

As a singer he usually performs songs he has composed himself, although he has some additional reportoire for example by Uzi Hitman (Adon Olam) and Matti Caspi. Among his better known collaboration are partnerships the Sheba Choir, which he established, with Shem-Tov Levi and Shlomo Yidov (performing as Ketzat Acheret), and with Matti Caspi.

Where in the world is the rest of his music? He is a great musician . . . I'd love to be able to hear more of his work here.
