פורטיסחרוף (FortiSakharof) are a musical couple consisting of two of the most prominent Rock artists: ברי סחרוף (Berry Sakharof) and רמי פורטיס (Rami Fortis).
Having first met in the Israeli band Minimal Compact, which fell apart during 1988, they first collaborated on the successful rock album “סיפורים מהקופסא”, although it’s attributed to Fortis alone.
In 1990, the two released their first album under this name, called “1900?”, in which Sakharof first sings two solo songs, “ניצוצות” and “הפוך”.
After a joint tour, a live album was released, called “כשהגיטרה מנסרת את הלילה” in 1992, which saw the end of their joint work for a long period of time, until in 2005 they surprisingly released a new single, “חדשות מהירח”. A successful comeback album, “על המשמרת” followed in 2006.
