ЧАЙФ (CHAIF) is a highly popular soviet and russian rock band playing a combination of blues, acoustic rock, pop rock and reggae.
CHAIF was founded in 1985 in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg) by classmates Vladimir Shakhrin and Vladimir Begunov who are still the leaders and songwriters of the band.
