Biography

Temnozor is the name of two bands. Both are from Russia, one playing Pagan Metal and the other having played Black Metal. The better known one was formed in 1996 in Obninsk, Russia, to express the pride of its members being Slavic and has released 4 full-length albums. Temnozor started out as a metal band with folk influences, but folk element became stronger throughout their later albums. The lyrics tend towards ancient Russian folklore, paganism, and dislike towards monotheistic traditions. They have an extensive line-up including Kaldrad Branislav of Branikald on vocals and other Blazebirth Hall-related members.

The lesser known one released only one demo in 1995, called Sinim.
