29-th July of 2003 year after Christmas some musicians by the rule of Andrey “Guardian” Sokolov become the group Sokolinaya Okhota (that means in Russian hunt with falcons, falconry).

Those days group had only three men. Excluding Guardian it were Igor Iliushin (Bass-guitar) and Andrey “Switch” Tulyakov (Drumms). They start to record album “Sny Severnogo Lesa” (“North Forrest Dreams”). In some months Guardian lose bass-guitarist. On his place came Evgeniy (John) Sidorov.

In january of 2004-th Timur “Eol Dark Elf” Chankuev try to write lyrics stand on real historic actions. For first album they take “INCIPIUNT CRONICA SLAVORUM EDITA A VENERABILI HELMOLDO PRESBITERO” wrote in XII age. There was the war between saxon duke Heinrich the Lion against slavonic tribe Obodrit.

Directly first record shows that acoustic format can`t show all emotions of what the group sing about. And only one sound will be good in this case - heavy metal. That`s how they mix the Battle Folk, that is Sokolinaya Okhota.
