@Sandronic: Can't even type this with my keyboard. So I won't vote for this. Truth is English is the best conduit, the best way to share with the international community. What if I spoke to you in french, would you get anything I'd say? Maybe you would but come on, we've got to try to be understood by most people, otherwise, what we say carry less meaning. Sorry for posting this here, but I just feel like if I make an effort to speak another language than mine for understanding sake, why should russians not do the same? Don't you feel like sharing your thoughts in a manner that'll be understood by the most?

Yes Sandronic, and all the others. Please vote. Actually, reading the Last.fm rules for posting, English is the preferred manner for both song titles, artist names and biographical descriptions. The rules for all postings were painfully brought to my attention lately. I believe in sharing.

There is no technical reason why the name can't be available in both character sets. One is just a transliteration of the other. Transliteration can be done behind the scene, so that browsing and scrobbling is unaffected, and everybody can be happy. It's up to Last.fm whether they want to do it that way or not. But, until Last.fm provides such a system, and since I can't read Cyrillic, naturally I'd prefer that it remain in the Latin character set.
