Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov (1844-1908) was a Russian classical composer who wrote his name into world music history with his operas and symphonies, such as Sadko; Snow Maiden; Le Coq d’Or (The Golden Cockerel); Scheherazade; etc. Rimsky-Korsakov was a member of the “Mighty Handful” / composer community aka , along with Alexander Borodin and Modest Musorgsky.

    There is no technical reason why the name can't be available in both character sets. One is just a transliteration of the other. Transliteration can be done behind the scene, so that browsing and scrobbling is unaffected, and everybody can be happy. It's up to Last.fm whether they want to do it that way or not. But, until Last.fm provides such a system, and since I can't read Cyrillic, naturally I'd prefer that it remain in the Latin character set.
