    This is my first listen to Dmitri Shostakovich. I need something that will help me rest. Although good, this is not it. I would have liked to have heard it without it being pushed to its boundries.

    Nous aimerions connaître les références interprétatives... Un orchestre russe à en juger par les sonorités. Un chef initié par l'authenticité du climat : Kondrashin ou Mravinsky ? Ou Barshai pourquoi pas ? De toutes façons les interprètes de cette symphonie n'abondent point...

    I love his use of percussion and tone clusters in the winds. There is just a sort of desperate fury to his symphonies that I love.
