Đan Trường (born November 29 , 1976; real name: Phạm Đan Trường) is a Vietnamese singer.
He began singing in 1996. Being fond of music, Đan Trường determined on pursuing singing. Then Mr Lê Hoàng Tuấn, the director of HT.Production Company, discovered his potential and invited him to be his company’s exclusive singer.
In 1999, Đan Trường became the most favorite singer in Vietnam, he was said to be a “phenomenon” for his extreme success. With a good-looking appearance, gracefully dressing and a youthful style of performance, Đan Trường won the youth’s hearts. He always works hard to enhance his singing-voice and make creation in his performance or video clips. Moreover, he can sing not only pop music but also various kinds of music such as hip-hop, especially folk-songs and traditional songs – a difficult type of Vietnamese music. Therefore, he also wins many commendations from middle-aged people.
Until now, Đan Trường and HT.Production have released 13 CD Album, 6 VCD Album and carried out four live shows. The last live show was broadcasted on seven televisions, and most of money from selling tickets is raised for charity.
