1, Úsvit were (years active : 1977 - 1982) an commercial slovensky bigbit/disco-rock/dance/folk party band from Czechoslovakia (Komjatice) and were founded by solo guitarist Jaroslav Kamenický, bassguitarist Peter Polák, Ladislav Učeň - rhytmic guitar, Jozef Šafár - drums, Jozef Strážovský - clarinet and sound technician Tibor Perny. Jozef Šafár was replaced by progressive drummer Milan Perny. Later they added saxophone-player Anton “Peter” Behúl and solo singer Ján Behúl. Guitarist Jaroslav Kamenický (too from bands Dennis And Snakes/1968/, Rytmus Komjatice /1973/ , Labyrint /1975 - 1977/) were replaced by Jaroslav Šilhavík (with strong rock voice for Katapult covers). Finally (1981) they replaced bassguitarist Peter Polák by Redy Kaufman (from Nitra) and add alt. saxophone-player Alexander Horváth (two saxophones were ideal for ABBA covers). Úsvit were very popular abroad and they were presented by ČSTV photographer Pavol Bera. Úsvit played at dance party actions, marriages and public undertakings. Repertory constituted popular music of 60s/70s/80s artists and own songs. Úsvit don’t recorded any official recordings.
