Ñu es una de las bandas más veteranas del heavy rock en castellano. Formada por José Carlos Molina y Rosendo Mercado (aunque éste iniciaría pronto una carrera en solitario) en 1975. Ñu guarda mucho parecido con Jethro Tull.

Ñu is a Spanish Hard Rock/Progessive Rock/Heavy Metal band from Madrid. Formed way back in 1975, the band is still active as of 2009, and has a massive string of releases. Along with Baron Rojo Ñu are one of the most legendary and influential Spanish Heavy Metal acts. Their first album “Cuentos de ayer y de hoy” was released after several singles, in 1978 and their most recent offering is the 2006 live DVD filmed in Madrid.
