sterrekind,embryo (aka Embryonatic Starchild / Kubrick Sun) loops, wrecks, pulls sounds out of wicked nature to put it into folk noir raga, krautfolk kamasutra and freak cult orgasms.
The debut record ‘Ochtendgloren’ was released on the first of August 2010 on zenuwbehandelingrecordings as 20 handmade cd-r’s.
Late 2010 new material was recorded at the Grrr Jamming Squeek studio in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Artist Paola Pivi made this sculpture where bands can record music for free. The only requirement is that they have to use animal sounds on their recordings. ‘Sterk Water op Sterk Water’ was recorded on the 18th of December, the same day that it was announced that Captain Beefheart died. All the silence and random jamming ,embryo did, was piled up in a montage as a tribute to Captain Beefheart.
‘Rethcirpo’ was released in August 2011, making it the third release on the Zenuwbehandelingrecordings label. Rethcirpo is best described as a trip to dark woods where witch house, noise, krautfolk and soundscapes meet.
