Biography

[the] caseworker was formed in 2003 in San Francisco, CA. The lineup is Conor Devlin (vocals, guitar) and Eimer Devlin (vocals, bass). Drums are handled by Sean Kirkpatrick (of Swell) or Will Waghorn (Sean Hayes, For Stars). So far, the band has released three albums: “These Weeks Should Be Remembered” (Manifesto, 2003), “When I Was A Young King” (Pehr, 2006) and “East of Sunset (soundtrack”)” (Manifesto, 2007). “East of Sunset” was a collection of Tom Waits covers. In 2008 the band took a long break from touring and recording, but returned in 2010 with the The ‘Boats’ EP on Indiecater Records.
In 2011 the band signed up with Hidden Shoal and their fourth album, ‘Letters From the Coast’ was released digitally and on CD on September 22, 2011. The first single, ‘National Runner’ was released in August as a free download on the Hidden Shoal website…
in February 2012, the second single was released - Sea Years is available as a download on the Hidden Shoal site.
Work will begin on the 4th record in the summer of 2012, with a release date of April 2013…
