Their sound has been compared to everything from The Cars to Devo to the Murder City Devils. Their music has been tagged by the press as “Neo New Wave”, “Emo” and “Punk” proving they defy categorization, as a band they have been playing together for 2.5 years and have toured extensively with a diverse bunch of bands including The Old 97’s, The Toadies, Paris Texas, Cursive and Black Tie Dynasty.
The songs are filled with emotionally charged lyrics and they drive and push forward at an appropriately lively pace capturing their audience with transparent hooks and retro keyboard swells. But don’t worry, this is not some bland new-wave revival, as the Dallas Observer’s Shannon Sutlief pointed out. “The Moogs and synths are just cogs in a fine tuned machine that pumps out rock that hooks like pop but hits like punk… New Wave has never sounded so progressive.”
