Singer/Songwriter Jennifer began recording as <jAy-LiBbEy> in 1997 in Seattle. Her dark, melancholy, eerie music has generated a buzz in the underground independent world of musicians. Her first album was recorded in 1997 by Zak Dewey which features a minimalist folk feel. Her next album Violet Velvet was recorded in 2000 in the basement of her home. Her lyrics show a dark side of an otherwise cheerful and quirky individual. She has remained mostly unknown, however has received radio play from KEXP 90.3 in Seattle, Washington.

    LOL! In Cold Forgotten I added a distortion effect to my vocals, this was done with very intentional reasons :D

    just came: "<jAy-LiBbEy> – Cold Forgotten" - but quality sounds bad :-( either your mouth is too close to the mic or the quality of the file bad ? it seems it's only for your voice, the instruments seem fine - or is this with purpose?
