(team) Photo was started out as a music and promotions project in 2005 by Kenn Rushworth.
the only song from that time to get recorded was “unwanted sound” in a rough ambient recording.
after one highly successful and one disasterous show that was put on, neither of which (team) Photo actually played, and several unsuccessful line-up changes the idea gradually faded…
…until the back end of 2006 when Kenn played bass for Kieran (Kez) Joyce’s then band wornoutface, a get together was mentioned by the two and as the year drew to a close and wornoutface split up the idea was mentioned again, within the first hours of 2007 to be precise.
the following week, the pair got together with a discount effects pedal, a squire and an acoustic in kenn’s rather cramped and drum kit filled bedroom.
within the month Kenn and Kez invited their friend Mark Pickstock, who at the time played no instrument, to join in, he accepted at first hitting cymbals then learning bass and keyboard.
practice became regular and the band was finding it increasingly difficult to fill out songs with 3 of them, until one day Kenn’s Girlfriend and good friend of Mark and Kez also, Carly Bennett turned up to a practice and picked up the bass.
