A smile was put on my face when "Sex and Candy" was thrown into the mix.

Still think the genius of this medley was following Manson with Hanson.

mad_cat_prime, Marilyn Manson is, in fairness, a very well-spoken and seemingly open/fair-minded man, just look at his comments on the Bowling for Columbine doc., when asked what he'd have said to the 'Trench Coat Mafia' (a group that most of America accused his music of inspiring/creating/encouraging etc) he said 'I wouldn't say a thing, I'd listen to them because that's what nobody has done'. Anyway, my point was that he was probably quite happy to let Weird Al poke fun, he doesn't seem the sort to take an honest joke as anything but!

So glad he lost the glasses and grew his hair. Much sexier.

Weird Al asks every artists for permission to use their work, even though he doesn't have to. So he asked Marilyn Manson for permission, I'd love to hear that conversation (though in truth it was probably his people contact their people).
