ERICROCK is a multi-faceted artist group and production company, based in scenic Jamaica Plain (Boston) MA via Maine.

We do DIY Shows. We put out records. We have an online/show distro. We love helping out with Graphic and/or Web Design. We do live sound for shows that aren’t ericrock shows. We can record those shows to multitrack! We can record anything in our home studio. One time I made a music video, and it was super fun to do. Now we even make buttons!

ERICROCK has always been a collective effort, with a foundation of myself (Caleb) and the collaborative efforts from a revolving cast of like-minded friends who support a creative, expressive, DIY arts scene. These people help out when they can, and fade in and out of the picture, which keeps things new & changing, and is a great way of running things.

Because the activity is spread over a variety of outputs, it often seems as if ERICROCK dies several times a year. Look more closely, we’re just focusing on something else. No shows? Maybe we’re working on an album, yada yada.

ERICROCK is a hobby, and at it’s most agressive, a low-profit venture. The important part is to love music, have fun, and build a positive foundation for stuff like this to keep happening.
