South Africa’s favourite, most fiercely independent underground label, African Dope remains the land’s leading resource for leftfield artistes and their art; big bassy beats-dub-dancehall-jumpup-jungle-electronica-hiphop-glitch-squelch and all things groovy.

In early 2000, the mighty Cape Town DJ duo of Krushed & Sorted embarked on a mission to blend the best local underground beats in their party sets. Since then Dope has been providing the heads with music that does not suck. They remain true to their roots and have almost single-handedly spread the gospel of South African leftfield music abroad.
