Viral Wax Recordings was set up by producers Luke Whinfield and Daryl Spencer (Audio Schematics) in 2005 as an outlet for their music. The label releases material from the Audio Schematics and solo material from Luke Whinfield. The labels aim is to release ground-breaking electronic music. The label has received strong support from DJs, Press and Radio, including BBC Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank and Ninja Tune founders Jonathan Moore and Matt Black (Coldcut). With lots of new projects in the pipeline, including albums from both Audio Schematics and Luke Whinfield, the future is looking promising.
