Unnatural Records is a London-based, independent, record label with a firmly held DIY/punk ethos. Avoiding standard record company cliches the label released a series of well-acclaimed lo-fi recordings on audio cassettes throughout the 1990s.

Jok was one artist who made the technological transition from the label’s analogue beginnings to its digital present.

Unnatural Records current roster includes JOK, The Haands and Sub Couple. Its catalogue includes the works of Tin Star and XC-NN. Unnatural Records’ publishing arm is Unnatural Press.

All three JOK albums are now available to download from iTunes and Amazon. CD versions of El Amigo JOK and Lamp Post Bouquet by JOK are available to order from the website unnaturalrecords.co.uk. The Haands are expected to release their debut album in early 2009.
