Trome Records is an independent record label from London, U.K. releasing lo-fi and ambient/drone recordings. First up was the debut album from NY avant garde composer Duane Pitre ‘Organized Pitches Occurring In Time’ LP in winter 2007. Two organic ambient drones utilising guitar, pump organ, violin, cello, viola, bass clarinet, alto saxophone and tone generator. Second was ‘Autumn Might Have Hope’LP, a debut album by Small Town Boredom from Paisley, Scotland. Drawing comparison to Low, Hood and Boduf Songs, Small Town Boredom create melancholic lo-fi songs with heavy-hearted vocals and warm instrumentation, consisting of Spanish guitar, mandolin, harmonium, bass and drums, interspersed with home-recorded experiments and field recordings.
