To Live A Lie Records is a record label that specializes in grindcore and thrashcore, located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Started mid-2005, its first release, a split between the prolific California noise/grind band, Godstomper, and DC area’s own grind-violence trio, Magrudergrind. This release sold over a thousand copies between two pressings and is already sought after. The label has gone on to release a 7” by a new band from California by the name of Rhino Charge, who are a powerviolence band who throw in sludge metal change-ups into their music. Rhino Charge also happen to be straight edge, which aligns to many of the beliefs of To Live A Lie’s founder, Will Butler. Another strong release was the split release comprising all of Magrudergrind’s material to date on one CD. The first pressing of this sold out quickly from the labels involved. The label has remained quite busy, releasing choice record after choice record (and even a tape comp).
