Taliferro Music was formed in February of 2009 as an online music label to assist artists in getting their music heard and discovered. Taliferro Music is about discovering new music and providing a platform for artists who are seeking exposure.

The label currently represents artists in the jazz, chillout, downtempo, slow jams, rap, electronic dance/progressive house, experimental electronic idm and fusion genres.

Most artists would prefer not to be involved in the day-to-day marketing, advertising, distribution, public relations and registration of music. Artists just want to create beautiful music, however they are hampered when first starting out by the need to be heard. Thus, they may not create the quality musical product they could have, since attention was directed elsewhere.

That’s where Taliferro comes in. Taliferro Music is more than willing to help artists reach that big time contract (if that’s the goal) with a major label, and best of all, the service is provided free of charge.
