TADA Newsletter No.1

2 Apr 2008, 10:20

Hello from TADA Music!
http://tadamusic.org

We've been promising stuff for ages, so here it is... the very first TADA Newsletter!

--- Full Albums - For Free! ---

Quite a few of you have already made it over to the website, but for those who haven't, it's looking grand. We've got some great FREE music available from musicians all over Japan, including a full album from Fatblueman (have a listen to Couldn't Get the Girl and then try and tell us country music aint cool!). The nation's favourites, Nanbanjin, have also been good enough to give us their entire back-catalogue for free download, and we've got some exciting new tracks from the forthcoming Watanabes album, which we hope to have in its entirety by next month. There's also the entire Cut Flowers collection; the once-great Fukuoka band may be finished now, but they've left an impressive legacy for all you TADA listeners to enjoy.

One of TADA's best features is that you don't have to be a site member to download any of our packages. Simply go to the artist's page and click on the headphones symbol above their photo. It's THAT easy!

--- Up-toDate News! ---

We've also got some great news and reviews from a variety of writers, including Doron Klemer - a man we feel very lucky to have scribbling for us. Check out his Dj Klock retrospective, not to mention his interview with Chris Jack of The Routes. Jon Wilks, the editor over at Japanzine, has also knocked out a piece on Mothercoat's latest masterpiece. Thanks to him for that.

--- TADA Friendly? ---

If you're a regular Google user, we recommend setting up the Google Reader application on your iGoogle frontpage (http://www.google.com/reader/). It takes a matter of seconds to do, and you'll get instant notification anytime we update the news here at TADA. We're also fans of Last.Fm (http://www.last.fm), a brilliant website that helps us keep track of what's going down well with our listeners. Get it, if you like. You won't regret it.

--- Other Important TADA Features ---

* Keep up to date with gigs around the country using our regularly updated calendar .
* Take part in our polls - feel free to suggest a new topic anytime you like.

Thanks for dropping by, and please help us out by spreading the word. Stick us on your blog, link us up, tell your friends - it's the only way we'll survive!
