Welcome to Static Motor Recordings—a Boston-based indie label and home to americana popsmiths The Longwalls and DIY indie-pop wunderkind Kurt von Stetten.
The goal is simple: try to provide a bit of a voice for some great music, and hopefully make a few coins in the process to support the creation of more. We also plan to do interesting things with packaging so that people get a real artifact when they make a purchase. Otherwise, most everything is also available on MP3s via Bandcamp (our preference as it’s better for the bands) and iTunes. And if you register (free) you gain access to discount codes and free downloads.
