Soft Power Records is an indie pop label based in Scotland, UK. Launched in 2010. It’s first release was a limited vinyl release of Theoretical Girl’s 2009 Debut LP ‘Divided’ (SOFT001) The release featured a host of twee extras such as a Theoretical Girl Dressing Doll, Collectable Postcard featuring artwork embroidered by Theoretical Girl herself especially for the release, and a bonus track ‘Another Fight’ which was not included on the original CD release. In a limited edition of 250 only, on 180g High Quality Vinyl.

SOFT002 was a 7” Vinyl, and was released on March 7th 2011. A much anticipated split 7” single in a limited edition of 300 only, from Dirty Beaches and Conor Prendergast.

SOFT003 was a limited 7” by Hollows- tracks: Hot Sand / Shapeshifter, release date October 17th 2011.

SOFT004 (which by a trick of fate was released before SOFT003) is a double a-blue vinyl 7” from The Tamborines, featuring Black & Blue and Indian Hill. Release Date July 25th 2011.

SOFT005 Trogons - Life At The Planetarium 4 Track Tape EP. Release Date February 29th 2012
