Shattered Screen Records is the brain child of Liam Stephenson and Thomas Danton of The Kansas Nebraska Act, formed in 2005 to act as a method for organizing and distributing locals acts in the Halifax, Nova Scotia indie rock scene.

While no releases were made at the time, the label has still seen action acting as the manager and distribution hub for various musical creations - mostly created by Stephenson and/or Danton themselves, or to distribute acts the pair had been in previously in their musical careers.
