Robot Needs Home is a DIY Record Label based in Leicester, UK.
We were set up in 2005 to release music by a collection of homeless bands from across the east midlands, but we’ve grown to encompass artists from all over the country. We were, and continue to be, inspired by the ethos and output of labels like Big Scary Monsters, Organ, Rock Action and Smalltown America.
Until now we’ve mostly released limited edition CDR and download releases, but you can expect bigger things from us soon.

We work on the basis of promotion by association – by collecting together musicians with a similar attitude and ethos, we hope people will use their connection to the label to discover others that they might like. We encourage the artists we work with to follow a similar DIY ethos to us – working hard themselves.
We have recently begun doing Independent Press and booking for the artists on our roster as well as for other musicians we love.
