Red Scare Industries is an independent, predominantly record label based in San Francisco. It was founded in 2004 and is currently run out of Tobias Jeg’s 2-bedroom apartment.

The label was first conceived when Toby’s friend Brendan Kelly, bassist/vocalist of The Lawrence Arms, started a side project called The Falcon with fellow Chicago natives Dan Andriano (Alkaline Trio), Neil Hennessy (the Lawrence Arms), and Todd Mohney, formerly of Rise Against. Brendan wanted an unknown label to release the debut EP.

Red Scare has since evolved into a rapidly-growing and fairly popular independent label. The label is distributed by Lumberjack/Mordam, placing them in stores around the U.S. and in digital outlets such as iTunes.
