LONG AWAITED DEBUT!
Julian Sakata's debut release entitled "See?" is currently being mixed in Los Angeles by multi-Grammy award winning producer/mixer Thom Russo. (Audioslave, System of a Down, Johnny Cash, Prince, Jay Z) Thom Russo is also co-producing the record along with Matt Pence (American Music Club, Jay Farrar, South San Gabriel, Centromatic) who also lends his extraordinary drumming talents along with a prodigious list of guest artists that includes: keyboardist Dave Palmer (AIR, Fiona Apple, Ray Lamontagne), guitarist Timothy Young (Wayne Horvitz, Matt Chamberlain, The Youngs), Carl Finch (of the 2 time Grammy award winning Brave Combo), percussionist Joe Cripps (Brave Combo, Peter Buck {REM}, Barrett Martin {Screaming Trees}), String arranger Robert Gomez, Buffi Jacobs and Tamara Cauble (from psychadelic pop mainstays the Polyphonic Spree), bassist Fred Hamilton (Bill Frisell, Earl Harvin Trio), Brent Best (the Drams), Scott Danbom (Centromatic, The Undertow Orchestra with Vic Chestnutt, Mark Eitzel) and backing vocals, violin was lent by Jesse Spencer.
Julian Sakata is now being represented by Steve Stewart Management (Eleven, Stone Temple Pilots, Mark Lanegan).
