Quartermain Records is a well-established and independent Danish label focusing on the narrow music and the artistic expression.
The label was founded with the purpose to try an influent and renew the Danish musicbusiness.
Over the past years we have grown from a small local indielabel to a well reputable label well respected in Denmark aswell as outside the borders.
We have decided to concentrate on music within the narrow and in some ways none-commercial scene because we believe that a lot of these bands hold an energy and creativity that somehow seems to be missing in many of the more commercial and monotonous releases that we usually see.
Our catalogue covers a wide range of styles from shoegazer and indiepop to electrofolk and postrock. Always with an edge and with something special to offer.
These fine labels are currently distributing Quartermain Records: Target (Scandinavia), Andertrash (Holland), Popchild (Spain), Monitor Records (HongKong) Broken Silence (GAS)
