PoppyDisc is a Glasgow-based record label run by Joe Foster (A.K.A Slaughter Joe), one of the co-founders of Creation Records. PoppyDisc is also the home of Foster’s Rev-Ola imprint, which concentrates on remastered and repackaged archive material. PoppyDisc was founded in 2007, and has featured a variety of artists such as BMX Bandits, Jowe Head, YeonGene, Sean Jackson, St. Deluxe, The MacDonald Sisters, and Mark Wirtz. PoppyDisc/Rev-Ola has also reissued albums by the following artists: BMX Bandits, Moondog, Gene Vincent, Jacques Brel, Chet Baker, and Sandy Salisbury, as well as original film soundtracks such as The Girl Can’t Help It, and Forbidden Planet.
