The music business is not a business at all — it’s a path cut through a dense and poisonous forest. Only a strong cooperative ethic with a focus on growth and meaningful projects assures survival — this is Nophi’s current “business model.” We don’t chase the money, we nurture the state of the art. We stay light and transparent, we work hard and have a great deal of fun at our own expense, that’s what Nophi has always been about.

Now that we’ve grown up, we are going to be bringing you the greatest collection of releases in our history. Our first priority is to release a series of ten split 7″ records. As we do this, we will populate our catalog with other releases and pieces of varied format, including our back collection of 35+ albums. By the end of 2010, we will be stronger and more developed than ever, championing the art of music of right now and tomorrow while destroying the draconian institution of artistic slavery.
